Japp dovskinnet er ferdig garvet. Hårene synes å sitte bra og ingen spesiell lukt. Men skinnet er stivt som fy.

Prosessen har värt to dager opptining, 4 dager salt, skraping og nytt salt i et dröyt dögn. Deretter Alun mix. 8 ss Alun, 4 ss salt, 0,75 l vann og hvetemel inntil grötaktig. 4 dager för avskrap.

Må nå finne noe som kan gjöre det litt mykere igjen. Sette inn med en fettblanding eller et Alunbad med bedre etterstrekk en det ble gjort nu.
